Email back-up service

Do you know what happens to emails when your server goes offline or your internet connection fails? Usually, emails are returned to the sender with an error message – or they get lost in the cloud. For a business, that can look unprofessional and important messages can go missing. To prevent this happening, York IT Services offers an email back-up safety net.

If your email server fails or you lose internet connection, our back-up server will automatically store your emails until your server is repaired or your internet connection restored. As soon as your email server is functioning again, our system will automatically deliver all the stored messages to their recipients.

It means no more lost emails and no more unprofessional error messages or ‘failed delivery’ notifications. Our server can hold up to seven days’ worth of emails, to cover even the most extreme system failures.
